Every Green vote counts! The contest for Yorkshire's seats could be very close.

Caroline Lucas with Europe candidates Leslie Rowe, Martin Hemingway (lead candidate), and Shan Oakes.

Greens are aiming to make a big impact in Yorkshire and the Humber and push the Green vote up on June 4 2009.

Green issues will feature in the news with increasing regularity: climate change, production of energy, transport, pollution and the environment are issues in this election where EU legislation is of great importance.

The EU vote is a proportional representation vote so you as voter can make a real difference with your vote.

The system is complicated and it does depend on the votes of all the parties standing. (See North-West video)

But, if one in ten vote Green, we should get the first Green MEP for Yorkshire & Humber.

Vote Green on June 4th !

Our Yorkshire and the Humber MEP candidates.
