WHY VOTE GREEN !?

"... 1. Because all the other parties are crap! And that's official.

  "New Labour, Tories, they're the same old neoliberal free-marketeers: 'All the solutions are in the market.' All the problems are placed at our doorstep... 

"...The other parties... are free-marketeers... we're in a huge financial crisis and why would you choose the people who made the problem to try and solve it?!  

"Secondly... because climate change is THE most important issue. And they are the only party who have campaigned from start and, hopefully, to the finish of this problem. And actually we have to address this; we don't have much time, and the Green Party are the only folk who can do it.  

"Thirdly, as we see New Labour disintegrate there's going to be a lot of people on the Left who are floating around going 'What do we do and where do we go?? How do we build movements and where do we actually put grassroots efforts and energies into?? 'How can we actually effect change, build a movement and influence the levers of powers??' 

 "And the answer has to be the Green Party. They're the only people who have consistently called for the most sensible measures, ranging from ... making sure that we have a proper work-life balance, to actually taming the power of corporations and making sure democratic voices and accountability, count - because we are in a battle where we have to make democracy HAS to fight and WIN against the recklessness of neoliberalism. 

"We have to do that. And the Green Party are the only folk who have got together to do it so far.
